DESIGN CONSULTS:
Prior to accepting a Booking, we offer a design/styling consultations to discuss style suitability and colour choices prior to having a bridal gown designed or you start shopping for a gown so you have an idea of what will suit your body shape. This also gives you a chance to meet with the Designer Anna and ensure that you feel 100% comfortable and trust Anna to create your gown. A $150 inc GST consultation fee is payable at or prior your appointment which covers the extensive topics covered at the consultation together with our time and advice - the consultation will be approx. 1 - 1.5 hours. We have own fabric samples in house and will show you your options at the time of consultation.
CUSTOM MADE GOWNS:
At your consultation for a custom gown, your gown will be sketched and fabrics chosen in accordance with your requirements and shortly following your consultation a quote will be provided. If you are happy with the quote provided and wish to make a Gown Booking a $550.00 NON-REFUNDABLE Booking Fee is payable for all bridal gowns and a "Booking Form" must be completed and signed within seven (7) days of your consultation should you wish to proceed with booking a custom made gown to be commissioned. We do not "hold dates" as we receive a large amount of enquiry every week - you must return your form and pay your Booking Fee in a timely manner to secure your date.
Once the gown is ready to begin, a fabric deposit will be payable and a measurements appointment scheduled - this amount is advised at your initial consultation and once this further deposit is paid 50% of your gowns total cost will have been paid off. Prior to your 1st fitting an invoice for 1/3 of the balance owing will be issued for payment prior to the 2nd fitting a further invoice will be issued for 1/2 of the remaining balance owing. The balance of the gown must be paid in full prior to the gown leaving the studio. This final payment can be made by SQUARE in studio or by transferring the balance payment in advance so that the funds are cleared in our account prior to collection.
Your measurements are taken at around four (4) months prior to your wedding and your gown is started three (3) months prior to your wedding with your final fitting carried out the week of your wedding to ensure a perfect fit. Usually a gown is fully completed in the quoted 2-3 fittings. Once you have made a booking a timetable of fittings is drafted for you.
CHANGES POLICY:
As a custom made gown involves a large amount of planning and work prior to starting the gown your design is sketched and all details are noted in your client file. We operate with a honestly policy that should you change your mind on detail specifics once the gown is started you must advise us immediately before we carry out extensive work and fittings on your gown. Once your gown has been commenced and you request changes, these changes will be noted in your client file. All changes will incur a $265.00 inc GST fee (per change) plus the cost of any additional fabrics or embellishments required to complete the gown. Should a bride be unreasonable in requesting more than up to 2 major changes, then we retain the right to terminate your work agreement and forfeit any monies paid to date plus invoice you for work costs incurred to the date of termination of your agreement. Delays with construction your gown can also cause delays with other bridal clients.
Extra Fittings on top of the standard quoted 3 due to changes in the gown design will incur a $110.00 inc GST per fitting.
Please note that you will be asked during the construction process if you are satisfied with the garment being made, at your final fitting, it is imperative that you advise if any further adjustments are required. If you need alterations and adjustments to the finished gown after it has left the bridal studio, these alterations will be charged at $110.00 p/h to to you.
PLEASE NOTE:
There are NO REFUNDS or RETURNS on custom made gowns as the item was designed and made especially for your specific style and measurements. During your final fitting the gown is checked and any issues are attended to so that you can take your gown. We are not responsible for any issues or damage caused to the gown once it has left our studio. Once you take your gown and have paid for it in full we take that as your final confirmation that you are fully satisfied with your gown. We are also NOT responsible for changes in your circumstances i.e cancellation or postponement of the event or change of mind relating to your choice of attire. Prior to leaving the Studio you will be advised of how to care for your gown, i.e. dry cleaning, procedure for putting the gown on, how to do up the zip and also if your fabric is at risk of damage from watermarking, or pulling from sharp items such as jewelry. If your gown has beading we supply you with a repair kit which has beads to match you gown. It is normal for some beading to come loose in the process of normal wear and tear. Large amounts of beading will not come off easily, beading will only become loose if it is caught on sharp objects, force is applied to the fabric or the gown is not handled with care. Beading will also become loose during the dry cleaning process of the gown. If you choose not to follow our advice in the care of your gown we are in no way responsible for any damage to your gown.
There are NO REFUNDS or RETURNS on fabrics purchased if you for some reason cancel your booking due to cancellation or postponement of your event or change of mind on having a custom garment made. Fabrics are not able to be returned to our suppliers and are ordered in specific colours and amounts for your gown. If you for some reason cancel your booking due to cancellation of the event that the fabrics have been purchased for, we will give you the items purchased to make the gown back as you have paid for them. We do not purchase fabrics back from clients.
PAYMENT:
We accept EFTPOS (Square – transaction fees will be applicable on top of your Invoice amount of 1.9% if card present or 2.2% for over the phone transactions where card is not present) & Direct Deposit. All payments made will be noted in your electronic and physical client file and a receipt emailed to you. No items can leave the studio prior to being paid for.
BRIDAL STUDIO GUIDELINES :
* You will be required to wear a mask when entering the Studio and wear for the duration of your appointment;
* It is requested that there are no children brought to the studio unless children are being fitted;
* No food or drinks are allowed in the studio as they may be spilt on the gowns;
* We also request that you remove jewelry so fabrics are not snagged or damaged;
* Please also remove all shoes at the front door to help maintain a clean environment for our fitting room;
* As our studio space is limited we request that only one other person if necessary attend fittings with you at the studio;
* If you are sick or have recently been sick or a close contact to someone who is sick please DO NOT come to your appointment, contact us to re-schedule.
* We will provide hand sanitiser prior to entry to the Studio.
NO SHOW POLICY:
Please note that we have a very strict "no show" policy if you miss your appointment and do not contact us prior to advise you are running late or reschedule in a timely manner we will not chase you up. We have a $88.00 booking deposit for alteration bookings on bridal gowns & bridal parties, if this deposit is not paid promptly upon booking your spot will not be kept. If you do not show up to your appointment and do not provide an explanation of your absence you will not be granted any further appointments and your booking deposit will be forfeited.
If you are coming for a custom fitting and do not show for your appointment a fee of $110.00 will be added to the cost of your gown to compensate us for our wasted appointment. If this is repeated your work agreement will be terminated and all deposits paid will be forfeited.
